Information

Heat resistant steel is commonly used in the manufacture of boilers, steam turbines, industrial furnaces, aviation, petrochemical and other industrial sectors in the high-temperature operation of parts.
309S :(0Cr23Ni13)
Characteristics: can withstand repeated heating below 980 ℃, with high high temperature strength and anti-oxidation, anti-carburizing performance.
Purpose: Furnace material.
310S :(0Cr25Ni20)
Features: suitable for making various furnace components, the highest temperature 1200 ℃, continuous temperature 1150 ℃.
Application: furnace material, automobile purification device material.
253 ma:
Features: Avesta Sheffield AB's 253MA is a heat-resistant Austenitic stainless steel, Designed for applications requiring high creep strength and good corrosion resistance. Its operating temperature range is 850-1100 ℃.
Usage: In addition to alloying elements chromium and nickel, this grade of stainless steel also contains a small amount of Rare Earth Metals (REM), thus significantly improving its oxidation resistance. Nitrogen was added to improve creep properties and make the steel complete austenite. Despite the relatively low chromium and nickel content, this stainless steel has in many cases the same high temperature properties as highly alloyed alloy steels and nickel-based alloys.

When buying stainless steel products, authenticity, processing precision, and after-sales service are the key factory
When buying stainless steel products, authenticity, processing precision, and after-sales service are the key factory
In the price-competitive environment of the stainless steel industry, many buyers treat unit price as the sole criterion for selection, ultimately falling into the trap of "low-cost procurement followed by high-cost rework." In reality, as a fundamental industrial material, stainless steel incurs costs throughout the entire lifecycle—from procurement and processing to operation and maintenance. Three key factors—material authenticity, processing precision, and after-sales service—are far more valuable than simply achieving low purchase prices.  Material authenticity is the minimum requirement when purchasing stainless steel, and also a common target for low-price traps. Some low-cost suppliers on the market often pass off inferior materials as high-quality ones—using 201 instead of 304, ordinary 304 instead of 316L, or recycled materials with non-standard thickness and subpar composition. Although these materials may appear only slightly cheaper, they can lead to premature corrosion, insufficient strength, and other issues during use, potentially causing safety incidents in chemical or food processing environments. Reputable, physical suppliers provide material quality certificates with each shipment and support spectral testing for verification, ensuring complete consistency in material composition and grade from the source.  Processing accuracy directly determines the yield rate and schedule of downstream operations. In stainless steel processing stages such as leveling, slitting, and cutting, there are clear industry standards for dimensional tolerances, flatness, and burr control. Low-cost processing often involves outdated equipment and lax quality control, resulting in excessive slit width tolerances, warped or uneven leveled sheets, and excessive burrs on cut edges. These issues can increase scrap rates in subsequent sheet metal and stamping processes, and even delay overall project timelines due to dimensional mismatches. Although high-precision processing has a slightly higher unit price, it significantly reduces rework and waste downstream, ultimately leading to lower overall costs.  Reliable after-sales service is a crucial guarantee for long-term and stable procurement. Low-cost suppliers often lack service capabilities; when issues such as material discrepancies or dimensional deviations arise, they tend to shirk responsibility and delay responses. Some small-scale vendors even lack established after-sales channels, making it difficult to hold them accountable for quality problems. In contrast, trustworthy manufacturing factories offer end-to-end support services, including product selection consultation, order tracking, handling of abnormalities, and timely replacement or reshipment, all backed by clear response mechanisms that significantly reduce buyers' communication and time costs.  From a total lifecycle cost perspective, pursuing low prices alone often proves counterproductive. Low-quality materials at lower prices may have a service life only one-third that of qualified products. When combined with hidden costs such as rework, production downtime, and equipment replacement, the overall expenditure can far exceed the cost of purchasing standard-quality materials. Procurement calculations should not focus solely on unit purchase price, but must also consider the comprehensive investment in material lifespan, processing losses, and operational maintenance costs.  The essence of stainless steel procurement lies in selecting reliable long-term suppliers, rather than simply opting for the lowest single price. By balancing cost and quality, and prioritizing material grade, precision, and service, true cost reduction and efficiency improvement can be achieved, ensuring stable progress in production and projects.
