Description:
Nickel-based superalloys refer to high-temperature alloys with high strength and good resistance to oxidation and gas corrosion in the range of 650-1000 ° C with nickel as the matrix (generally greater than 50%). Nickel-based superalloys (hereinafter referred to as nickel-based alloys) were developed in the late 1930s. In 1941, the United Kingdom first produced the Ni-based alloy Nimonic 75 (Ni-20Cr-0.4Ti); in order to increase the creep strength and added aluminum, Nimonic 80 (Ni-20Cr-2.5Ti-1.3Al) was developed. In the mid-1940s, the Soviet Union in the late 1940s, China also developed nickel-based alloys in the mid-1950s.
Incoloy is a nickel ferrochrome alloy designed for oxidation and carbonation at elevated temperatures.Incoloy alloy has many kinds: common such as Incoloy800, Incoloy800H, Incoloy800HT, Incoloy825, Incoloy840, Incoloy901, Incoloy925, Incoloy20, Incoloy330, Incoloy 25-6mo, etc.The alloy contains a small amount of the metallic elements molybdenum and copper.In reductive acid and oxidizing acid, it has good corrosion resistance, as well as good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion.It has excellent corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid.The alloy has good cold and hot working properties and is easy to be formed and welded.The main products of this alloy are rods, tubes, plates, strips, wires and forgings, etc. It is mainly used in the chemical, petrochemical, nuclear and rare metal refining industries.
Nimonic93 is a precipitation hardened nickel-based alloy containing high cobalt and chromium. It has high strength and good structural stability. It is used below 815 °C and has good comprehensive performance. Turbine blades for aero engines, small engine turbine disks and fasteners. The alloy is hot workable and can be used to supply sheets, rods and forgings.

Nimonic93 organizational structure:
1. Nimonic93 phase transition temperature: The γ' phase begins to dissolve at 950 °C.
2, Nimonic93 time-temperature-tissue transition curve
3, Nimonic93 alloy structure: γ' phase precipitated on the austenite matrix, M23C6 type carbide is distributed in the grain boundary, MC type carbide is mainly distributed in the grain, no M7C3 type carbide.
Nimonic93 process performance and requirements:
1. Formability of Nimonic93: The alloy has good hot working plasticity, and allows the upsetting deformation to be 80% without cracking in the temperature range of 1050 to 1150 °C. The forging blank heating temperature is 1130~1150°C, the final forging temperature is not lower than 950°C, the rolling heating temperature is 1150~1170°C, and the finishing rolling temperature is not lower than 1000°C.
2. Nimonic93 welding performance: The plate can be connected by argon arc welding. The weldability in the solid solution state is good. After welding, the stress should be eliminated and aging treatment should be carried out.
3, Nimonic93 parts heat treatment process: Turbine disk blanks can be first treated by solution treatment, after processing, aging treatment under argon gas protection, or can be machined after the cake is completely heat treated. The single layer of the blank is placed in a uniform temperature zone of the heat treatment heating furnace to slowly heat up, and is cooled and dispersed after cooling.
4, Nimonic93 surface treatment process: the turbine disc groove part can be electropolishing or shot peening.
5, Nimonic93 cutting and grinding performance: the alloy in the solid solution state cutting performance is better than the aging state.
