Description:
Hastelloy is a nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy, which is mainly divided into nickel-chromium alloy and nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. Hastelloy has good corrosion resistance and thermal stability, and is used in aviation and chemical fields. Inconel718 process performance and requirements:
1. Due to the high content of niobium in Inconel718 alloy, the degree of niobium segregation in the alloy is directly related to the metallurgical process.
2. In order to avoid excessive segregation of elements in the ingot, the diameter of the ingot used is not more than 508 mm.
3. The homogenized alloy has good hot workability, and the billet heating temperature of the ingot should not exceed 1120 °C.
4. The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the degree of deformation of the forging and the final forging temperature.
5, the alloy has satisfactory welding performance, can be welded by argon arc welding, electron beam welding, seam welding, spot welding and other methods.
6, different alloy solution treatment and aging treatment process will get different material properties. Due to the low diffusion rate of the γ" phase, the Inconel 718 alloy achieves the best mechanical properties through prolonged aging treatment.
