1. Material: carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, copper, copper nickel alloy, aluminum alloy, titanium and other commonly used heat exchange tube material; Graphite, ceramic and polytetrafluoroethylene are non-metallic materials. Because most of the medium to be transmitted in the heat exchanger is hot water or corrosive liquid, therefore, if the choice of copper tube heat exchange tube, the oxide layer of copper tube will increase with the growth of the use of time, the thicker the thickness, the more internal dirt, the worse the heat transfer effect, even if slow oxidation, stainless steel will not be oxidized. Due to the reasons of strength and wear, the wall thickness of copper tube can not be less than 1.2mm, the wall thickness of stainless steel tube can be thin to about 0.5-0.8mm, so now people mostly choose stainless steel tube as heat exchange tube.

2. Thickness and shape of inner wall: stainless steel nodal tube is commonly used in heat exchange equipment. Enhanced heat transfer can be achieved through its unique ultra-thin wall nodal tube. The height difference between the crest and trough of the wave makes the fluid strongly disturbed, even if the flow velocity is very low, it can also make the fluid in a turbulent state. At the same time, the temperature gradient of the fine tube wall is small, which greatly reduces the thermal resistance of the tube wall and improves the heat transfer coefficient inside and outside the tube, thus increasing the total heat transfer coefficient.

3. Surface smoothness: compared with the heat exchange tube, when the threaded tube is used as the heat exchange tube, during the formal heat exchange process, the medium flowing in the threaded tube will rotate along the threaded tube around its radius of curvature, resulting in the tube is radial and circumferential. The secondary reflux along the flow direction makes the convective heat transfer coefficient larger, so the heat transfer effect of threaded tubes is better, therefore, we see every day in the industrial production of heat exchange tubes are mostly stainless steel threaded tubes.
